Why choose to have Hypnotherapy sessions with me?
People frequently ask me why they should come to me for help with anxiety, stress, weight issues or anything else. My answer is that I have over 25 years experience as an internationally qualified Personal Trainer and 14 years experience as a Clinical Hypnotherapist – that is a lot of knowledge and expertise. I am passionate about working with people and will go that extra mile to carry out research and put personalised sessions together.
From an initial contact by email, text or telephone call, I take the time to listen to your needs, answer any questions that you may have, and offer advice accordingly. 9 times out of 10 that person will book in to see me for a consultation and first session. I put to rest all of the myths and misconceptions about hypnosis, hypnotherapy and stage hypnosis.
The consultation is about me getting all the pertinent information from you that is relevant to the issue you have. It’s also about building a relationship with you, gaining your trust and helping to put you at ease. Once I have got all the information I require, I explain about the mind and how hypnosis works and as well as how I work as a Hypnotherapist. I will usually carry out a first session of hypnosis incorporating some of the information that has been given to me within the consultation.
Ongoing, you get motivational hypnosis sessions and they are all personalised to you and your needs. It isn’t one size fits all, as we are all different and unique. So it makes a difference as to what the issue is which then determines the number of sessions required. What you gain is control, coping strategies to help you overcome your issue or to help you get to your weight loss goal and maintain it. You become calmer, more relaxed and able to cope with your day to day life. You might start sleeping better and feel good about yourself again and life. No more sweaty palms, racing heart or feelings of dread or overwhelm. You may have more self esteem and confidence in yourself.

Consequences of not having hypnotherapy with me.
So what happens if you decide not to work with me? Well your stress/anxiety will increase and you may start having physical symptoms. You sleep patterns may become disrupted and you’re into sleep deprivation and feel more stressed. You may gain weight because you are not sleeping and you’re stressed/anxious. |As you gain weight you may be more likely to have type 2 diabetes, coronary illnesses or have a stroke. Life becomes a chore and you feel more unhappy and negative, it becomes a spiral of gloom that you find hard to get out of. No positive results from hypnotherapy, no support ongoing from me.
