Tapping in York for children
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) can be used to help children overcome many issues that they may be experiencing in their daily life, at home or at school. This is such an easy therapy for children to learn, and using a favourite teddy can make it fun too. Once a child has learned how to use EFT, it is a tool that they can use to help themselves any time, any place. They may even be able to help a friend with EFT.
It is just as effective as it is with adults, except children are more accepting and less critical. Children make great subjects because they have vivid imaginations and they live constantly in an imaginary world.
If a parent is willing to learn EFT with a child it means the child can tap at home with Mum or Dad as well as in sessions with an EFT Practitioner, quickly identifying issues to be dealt with. De-stress and keep your child/children calm by learning and using EFT; a quick and easy way to calm an upset child.
There are plenty of books and resources on the internet for anyone to use to learn how to tap and get the benefits. I highly recommend EFT for children by Anne Unsworth. Do check out videos on YouTube as well as any of the EFT websites.
EFT can be used to resolve many issues with children including:
- Anger
- Worry
- Fear
- I’m not good enough
- Loneliness
- Sadness
- Guilt
The great thing about EFT is children can learn it and practise it on themselves or their teddies. Children can be free of their worries, anxieties, fears and phobias.
I have and use a teddy bear that was designed by children and it has all of the tapping points on it. Most children love to cuddle it, instantly feeling better. If your child has a favourite teddy or soft toy, you can put small stickers on the teddy where the tapping points are.
